Women's Basketball Wins First Home Game

The Knights hosted their first home game of the year last night against NCAA DIII Lagrange College and were able to pull off the upset. After being tied at 12 at the end of the first quarter, the Knights used a 17-4 second quarter to jump out to a 29-16 at halftime. The Knights kept the momentum rolling as they outscored the Panthers 16-9 in the third quarter to win the game 62-41. Destiny Kincaide led the Knights with 18 points on 5 of 10 shooting, Tra'Ceria Dunn added 11 points and 6 rebounds, and Joy Sadler added her second double-double of the year with 10 points and 17 rebounds. The Knights defense was able to force the Panthers into 29 turnovers and outrebounded LaGrange 40-26. The Knights next game will be Wednesday, October 30 at 5:30 PM in Morris Gym against Brenau University.
