Knights Claim Highest Honor

Knights Claim Highest Honor

The Knights Athletics Program has been hard at work on and off the field and the results have shown. The Knights were awarded the highest honor in the Champions of Character program as they were given the Champions of Character Five-Star Institution Award for 2018-2019. The Knights achieved the gold level, which is the highest level award that a program can gain. Each year, NAIA schools use the Champions of Character scorecard to measure the pursuit of character-driven athletics. Schools scoring a minimum of 60 out of 100 points earn the Champions of Character Five-Star Institution Award. This year, 180 NAIA Institutions earned the Champions of Character Five-Star Institution Award. Details on this year's award winners and award web medallions can be found at https://www.naia.org/champions-of-character/five-star-winners-2019. Congratulations to all of our Knights athletics teams and continue the hard work both on and off the field as we strive to promote the Champions of Character initiative.
