Men's Tennis Season Ends in Elite 8 of NAIA National Championship

MOBILE, AL - The men's tennis saw their season end in the Elite 8 of the NAIA National Championship in Mobile, Alabama on Thursday, May 16 with a 5-2 loss to Cardinal Stritch-WI.  The Knights finished the season with a overall record of 14-4 and winning the Southern States Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship with a 6-0 record for the first time.  Yuri Syromolotov gave the Knights their second straight year with the SSAC Player of the Year and Coach Tom Bates won his first men's SSAC Coach of the Year.  The team climbed to the highest ranking of any Knights team since joining the NAIA spending several weeks at #4.

The Knights will lose four seniors to graduation and will look to rebuild for the 2020 season with their top two singles players returning.
