Baseball Wins Over Screaming Eagles

COCHRAN, GA - Baseball won their 11th straight game and moved to 19-3 on the season with a 7-4 win over Toccoa Falls College on Wednesday, March 13.  The Knights got a hit from 8 of the 9 starters while Blake Jackson and Beau Peltier each had 2 RBI.  Peltier and Tyler Flood each homered in the game for the Knights while Flood had the only other extra base hit with a double.  The Knights used 5 pitchers including Devan Harriman who got the win coming in for relief in the 1st and working 4.0 innings with 8 strikeouts and 3 runs allowed.  Jake Cooper earned the save working the 9th with a strike out.  The Knights outhit the Screaming Eagles 12 to 7 and each team had 1 error in the game.

The Knights next game is at home on Saturday, March 16 at 1PM when they host Blue Mountain College (11-14-1, 3-3 SSAC) in a 3-game series which concludes on Sunday, March 17 at 1PM, all at Stuckey Field.
