Cochran, GA- The Knights entered #17 in the nation in today's matchup against an in-state foe the Truett-McConnell College bears. In the first ten games of the season, the Knights have been able to go 7-3 and winning each series they have played.

The Knights would give up the lead in the top of the first inning giving up 3 runs, on 3 hits, and 2 left on base. The Knights were able to push a run across in the bottom of the inning when Will Golden (SR/Waycross, GA) would reach on a fielder's choice allowing Jesus Monserrat (SR/Warner Robins, GA) to score.

After being called in to pitch Devan Harriman (SO/Pensacola, FL) would go on to pitch 7.0 innings, allowing 0 ER, on 3 hits, and 5 strikeouts allowing the Knights to slowly creep back into the game.

Jared Crews (JR/Sanderson, FL) leading off in the bottom of the fourth inning would double down the left field line. Jeremy Little would bunt and reach first on a throwing error from the Bears and Jared Crews would be able to score from second on the error. Pinch runner Luke Parks (FR/Perry, GA) would end up scoring after the second run of the inning off a ground ball hit by Jesus Monserrat and would tie the ball game 3-3.

The game would remain tied until the bottom of the ninth inning and the Bears found themselves in a tough spot against the Knights. Monserrat would reach on a walk and would eventually advance to second after the next at bat. The Bears decide to intentionally walk Alan Mocahbee (SR/Calhoun, GA) which had gone 2-3 with a BB on the day which would send up Will Golden.  It took one pitch for Will Golden to find the one he liked and single to send Monserrat home for the walk-off win 4-3.
