Cochran, GA – The Knights entered tonight looking to stop their losing streak at three and start building momentum for the conference tournament. They would be facing former conference foe the Auburn University-Montgomery Warhawks which have moved to NCAA division II. The Knights earlier this season had captured a win at the Warhawks home and looking to take the season series.

The Knights took control early and built a 9 point lead with 15:32 left after a 2-point by Brandon Ingleton (SR/Queens, NY). By 11:56 left in the first half the Warhawks were able to cut into that lead and tie the game for the first time since tip-off. Warhawks The Warhawks would capture the lead and maintained going into halftime with the score of 29-24.

The Knights would see their biggest deficit with 18:08 left in the second half when they would be trailing 36-24. The Knights would be able to cut the lead to 4 points with 10:59 left but the Warhawks would stretch it back and take the game 66-57.

Kieston Standfield (SR/Birmingham, AL) would be the Knights leading scorer with 18 points and would record a double-double with 10 rebounds. Brandon Ingleton and Roshaun Milline (JR/Milledgeville, GA) would record double-digit points with 12 points each.

The Knight's next game will be away against Dalton State on Thursday night.
