Mason Klotz (SR/Maringouin, LA) would get the nod to start the season on Friday night and would begin the game with a 1 2 3 inning and striking out 2. The bottom of the first Knights second hitter Logan Smith (SR/Zebulon, GA) would go deep to help jump start the Knight's offense. The Knights would go on the score 4 runs on 4 hits in the bottom of the first.
Mason Klotz would go into cruise control and would go 6 innings, striking out 14 Cumberland batters, and only allowing 2 earned runs. Zach Cornell (FR/Cartersville, GA) and Alan Mocahbee (SR/Calhoun, GA) would join Smith in the Home Run column and 8 out the 9 starters would collect and hit on the afternoon. The Knights would play 8 innings and win 13-2 and pushed their record to 6-2 heading into the doubleheader on Saturday.

Austin Bowker (JR/Nuevo, CA) would be the starting pitcher in game 1 of the doubleheader on Saturday looking to build off his great outing the weekend before. The Knights offense though would not see the same fire they had the night before. The Knights would only see 4 different batters on base on 5 hits and one base on balls. The Knights would go on the lose 10-0 in the first game of the doubleheader.

Jake Hundley (SR/Newnan, GA) would get the start for the Knights and the Knights offense woke up for game 2. The first two innings would see the Knights give up 6 runs on 4 hits and look to have carried their luck over from game 1. Heading into the bottom of the 3 innings the Knight's offense would click and would be able to put 6 runs on only 2 hits. The Knights would carry this offensive momentum throughout the rest of the game winning 15-6. 3 Will Golden (SR/Waycross, GA), Alan Mocahbee, and Andy Mocahbee (SR/Calhoun, GA) were able to Cumberland's pitching deep for Homeruns in the final game of the day.
