Cochran, GA – The Knights in game two would keep the fans excited with more offense and another late Seventh inning win. The Skyhawks would look to try to spilt the double header but the Knights would spoil their ride back to West Point, GA.

In the top of the first inning, the Skyhawks would jump out to an early lead by scoring 2 runners. Julia Davis (SO/Cordele, GA) would continue with her momentum in game 2 and would lead the Knights with their first of the game. She would go on to steal second and third to put herself in scoring position. Meagan Coleman (SO/Cordele, GA) would eventually double to deep left to score Davis and the Knights would end the inning down 2-1.

Raygan Larson (FR/Rehobeth, AL) would shutout the Skyhawks in the top of the second inning and the Knights would put themselves in a great spot to take the lead. Corbin Ingle (SO/Warner Robins, GA) would single to center field and  Madison Bivins (SO/Ellaville, GA) the first pitch she saw in game two would go deep to center field to push the Knights in the lead 2-1.

The Knights would score a run in the third inning when Raygan Larson would single to shallow center scoring Meagan Coleman. In the fourth inning, the Knights would be able to put two more runs on the board when Meagan Coleman would double to deep left center to push Haley Meza (JR/Denver, NC) and Caitlyn Lawton (FR/Leesburg, GA) across home plate.

With a 9-4 lead heading into the seventh inning the Knights look like they were going to end the day with a sweep but the Skyhawks weren't going to let the Knights win that easy. With the bases load the Skyhawks would be able to find a pitch they like and would hit a grand slam into left field to tie the game 9-9. Julia Davis would single to left in the bottom of the inning which allowed Madison Bivins to score the game-winning run and the Knights would take both game to start their season off 2-0.
