Cochran, GA – The Knights this week would have two conferences games against The Bethel University Wildcats and The Martin Methodist College Redhawks. Their first game would be Thursday night against the Wildcats who were looking to put the Knights on a three-game losing streak.

The Knights would struggle Thursday to find any type of rhythm on offense but defense would give the wildcats some pressure. The Knights would only shot 29% from the field and only 16% from 3-point range. The Knights were not able to put up more than 12 points in any quarter and would only score 5 in the Third. The Knights would lose the game 55-37 and would be heading into Saturday's game to snap the three-game losing streak.

The Knights would take on the Redhawks on Saturday afternoon at home looking to not extend their losing streak. The Knights would come out in the first quarter and would capture the lead and maintain to go up 14-9.

The second quarter would be a completely different story and the Redhawks offense woke up and would put 20 points on the board just in the second. The Knights could only battle back with 9 points in the quarter and enter the half down 34-18.

The third and fourth quarter would see the Redhawks offense maintain their momentum scoring 17 in the third and 18 in fourth. The Knights were only able to score a total of 20 points in the second half which the Knights would go on to lose 64-43.

Shaketa Hodges (SR/Macon, GA) would be the leading scorer for the Knight with 16 points and Tasicianna Taylor (SR/Macon, GA) was one point shy of completing a double-double.

The Knights next game will be away on Monday against Auburn University of Montgomery.
